Welcome to Village Italy

We offer selected accommodation in picturesque and historical Italian villages where you can experience the Italian way of life - slow life, good food and wine, friendly locals.... Forget about the hustle and bustle of modern living and relax in a historic context with friendly locals, tasty and not expensive restaurants, beautiful nature and many historical landmarks.  These villages are located in unspoilt parts of Italy off the beaten track. Accommodation is provided in medieval houses furnished with antique furniture, but offer all modern facilities and have stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the summer season, but not only in this period, there are frequent festivals dedicated to local foods, local traditions, local history, music, art, handicrafts ...

All properties have been recently completely renovated and are located in quiet places. There are no night bars or railway stations around the corner. Being located in the medieval part of old villages these properties can be reached only by foot, but parking is just 100-200 meters away. Our properties are fully equipped for short stays. Heating is centralised. Sheets, towels, a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils are provided. Satellite TV and Wi-fi internet connection is available for the guests in all properties except one.

You can find which restaurants we recommend, which places are worth visiting, which street festivals are taking places, where to buy the best local produce .... These areas are well known for producing excellent olive oil, cheese, wine ...
Accommodation can be rented for a minimum of 3/7 days depending on the property. Discounts are provided for two weeks and longer. Long-term rates  are also provided upon request. Village Italy is not for people who love luxury holidays detached from the surrounding environment, but for lovers of antique traditions who want to experience an holiday in contact with the locals. Our local representative will be at hand for any kind of information.  A variety of sports can be practiced in the surrounding countryside.

Ventimiglia (Liguria)

The area is the most western part of Liguria, bordering with France. The mild climate was well known to the British already in the eighteenth century. Ventimiglia is just a few kilometers away from the French border and the many attractions of the Cote d'Azur. Montecarlo is half an hour away and Nice is just 40 kilometers from Ventimiglia. read more

Pigna (Liguria)

Pigna is listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy by the Italian Private Tourism Association "Touring club". The centre is made of narrow and picturesque streets remained untouched over the centuries. read more

Roccalbegna (Tuscany)

This is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday in a countryside which has changed very little in the last few centuries. The ancient castle of Triana. can be seen 1 kilometer away. In the nearby villages you can find excellent restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine. Street fairs are a regular occurence in the summer. read more

Liguria region

Liguria, often called the "Italian Riviera", is one of Italy's smallest regions, but can boast many fashionable resorts. It lies in north-western Italy, bordering with France.
